How to Master Economy Picking
In this lesson, you will learn how to master the economy picking technique on the guitar, with some very simple economy picking exercises. I go into great detail with the mechanics, and show you the only exercises that you will ever need to develop this great picking technique.
This technique is used by all virtuoso guitar players in some way. Players like Joe Bonomassa ad Eric Johnson depend on this technique to play their signature monster pentatonic licks. When you are able to economy pick, your playing possibilities will open up tremendously. You will be able to play a lot of licks that you just can’t play with standard alternate picking.
The secret to developing this technique is to keep the exercise simple, and play them SLOWLY. If you do this, you will master economy picking in no time at all.
